Ray Garza
Assistant AD & Head Football Coach / Inside Linebackers
Raymond Garza is the Pioneers' Assistant AD, Head Coach and Inside Linebackers Coach. Coach Garza played football, basketball, and ran track at Alvin High School. After High School he played football at Blinn Junior College and was a student-coach at Texas A&M University. He has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M university, and a masters degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. This is his 17th year of teaching and coaching in Alvin ISD. Coach Garza is married to Emily, who is the nurse at Iowa Colony High School. They have three children: Gunner, Garrett, and Gabby. Coach Garza attends New Hope Church and enjoys spending time with his family and fishing in his spare time.
