Roderick Williams
Head Athletic Trainer
Mr. Williams is entering his 16th year as an athletic trainer and 2nd year in Alvin ISD serving as Head Athletic Trainer for Iowa Colony High School. Mr. Williams previously served as Head Athletic Trainer at James E. Taylor HS in Katy ISD, Associate Athletic Trainer at Pearland Dawson HS and Tomball Memorial High School. Prior to his time in the Houston area, Williams served as an Outreach AT, Bracing/Ortho Specialist for Lubbock Sports Medicine in Lubbock, TX. He served as an Athletic Trainer for Track & Field at Abilene Christian University following a season-long intern position with the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences - Athletic Training emphasis and obtained his Master's degree in Sports Administration from Liberty University. He is a proud Red Raider and a native of Denison, Texas. Mr. Williams is married to his beautiful wife Samantha, and they have 3 kids (Addison, Ruthie, and Brooks). The Williams Family attends Vineyard Church Pearland. He enjoys camping, live music and spending time with his family.
