Coach Bennett is entering his 2nd year as a coach with the Pioneers. Born and raised in Houston, Texas Bennett graduated from Manvel High School where he lettered in football and track receiving All State Honors. Coach Bennett then accepted a football scholarship  to the University of Oklahoma playing wide receiver. After 2 years Bennett transferred to Henderson State University and received his Bachelor's degree of Business Information Systems while finishing as an 1st team All Greater American Conference player in 2017. Coach Bennett has also coached on the collegiate level as a wide receiver and tight ends coach at Coffeyville Junior College in 2018-19. Bennett will be teaching in the Social studies department while coaching football and track. Bennett likes to spend his free time with his two kids Braylen (10) and Gemma (2).
