Freshmen Defensive Coordinator / Inside Linebackers

Coach Serrato, being raised in the once small town of Manvel, Texas, is a dedicated football coach and teacher in his third year of service. Serrato excelled in football, powerlifting, and track & field during his time at Manvel High School. Coach Serrato received All District honors for 3 years, along with being All-State his senior year. After pursuing a bachelor's degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, he initially served as a youth/young adult pastor before transitioning into coaching. He is married to his best friend, Valeria, who is a teacher at IC as well. They have a daughter, Selah, that will be joining the family in September. Coach Serrato finds joy in sharing his love for sports and ministry with his spouse. He also enjoys fishing, gaming, and spending time with his family.
