Coach Owens is entering his 4th year as an educator and 6th year as a coach. The past 5 years he has spent in Shreveport, Louisiana coaching football and baseball. This is Coach Owens first year at Iowa Colony. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University Shreveport, where he played baseball. He is from Pearland, Texas where he played baseball at Pearland high school. Coach Owens likes to spend his time on the field, with his family, playing golf and pickleball.
