Freshman Football / Safeties

Coach Wright is entering his 8th year as an educator after spending 15 years as an NFL personnel executive and scout. For the past 3 years, he was the Boys Athletic Coordinator at Caffey Junior High. He will be coaching freshman football and track at Iowa Colony High School. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where he played football and ran track. He also received his masters degree in Sport Administration from Grambling State University. He and his wife of 21 years, Vincincia have three children, Victoria, Lauryn, and Larry III. All of whom are products of Alvin ISD. Victoria and Lauryn are graduates of Shadow Creek High School and Larry III attends Iowa Colony High school and is a 10th grader. In his spare time, Coach likes spending time with his family, fishing, and barbecuing.
